What about adaptation Weceem for working on Grails 2.0?

I've tried to run weceem plugin on Grails 2.0.M2 and got some errors.

First error is the following warning that I've got at any application running using "grails run-app" command:

I don't have any conjecture what causes this warning. It appears at every launcing of my application.

Second is a compilation error:

We need to remove " = null" in WcmContentController.renderGSPContent method declaration on line 308 for solving this problem.

Third is an error that I didn't solve yet:

Can you help me with solving this problems? Is there any plans for adaptation Weceem for Grails 2.0?

Hi,

Unfortunately Grails 2.0 is still only in milestone stages and you cannot assume that Weceem should work at all.

The problems you are experiencing are related to changes in Grails for which there are no workarounds I know.

I am in the process of testing Weceem with latest Grails 2 code and will discuss and feedback all the problems to the Grails core team as I go.

However do not expect Weceem to work well with Grails 2 until the first RC1.

Regards
Marc

Guys,

Is there anybody who have successfully installed Weceem on Grails 2.0?

Hi,

Yes I have

It does work in 2.0rc1 but due to issues with dependency management you may need to add weceem to BuildConfig instead of using grails install-plugin script.

There are however bugs in Grails 2rc1 that are affecting at least some features. For example trying to use Synchronize Files in Administration can crash under Grails 2rc1 because of a bug in the dynamic finders.

Grails 2 is pre-release and should not be used in production with Weceem.

Regards
Marc

I've got this error when tried to run application:

yuriy@thinkpad:~/WeceemTest$ grails
| Configuring classpath
| Error Failed to resolve dependencies (Set log level to 'warn' in BuildConfig.groovy for more information):

- net.java.textilej:net.java.textilej:2.2.854

How can I fix it?
